Construction of Bluewater Villa started in March of 2007 in the Craigston area on the island of Carriacou, Grenada, West Indies. Our building project has several phases starting with the construction of the cistern and 2500 SF house.
The upper floor consists of the master bedroom with en-suite and outdoor shower, guest bedroom with en-suite, large open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and living room opening onto a large deck. The 600sf covered balcony will be an outdoor living area for dining and lounge use. Both floors will be wheelchair accessible via a ramp on the north side of the house.
The lower floor has guest accommodation for up to four guests in two self contained one bedroom suites with private bathrooms and kitchens. The top floor was scheduled for completion in November of 2007 and was finished ahead of schedule in mid September, 2007.
The next phase has begun with the addition of a second tier open air deck off the main balcony with swimming pool and sun lounge area slated for completion in February of 2008. Finishing work to the guest suites, lower floor covered deck area and living roof will follow.
Landscaping projects are ongoing and include retaining walls, a trellised patio, herb garden, shade garden and landscaping with palms, fragrant flowers, fruit trees and a variety of lush tropical plants.
We hope to have the villa available for vacation and villa rentals in 2008/2009.
